Information according to the Data Act (EU 2023/2854)

This page describes how Stratsys complies with the EU Data Act and ensures customers access to their data.

Stratsys provides its services as cloud-based SaaS solutions. In accordance with the Data Act (Regulation (EU) 2023/2854), we provide below information on how customers can access their data in the Stratsys platform.

Access to data

Customers have access to their own data, including metadata, uploaded files, and reports, through the platform’s built-in features (for example, in Excel, CSV, or JSON formats). Access only covers the customer’s own data. Information relating to the platform’s internal functions, security-critical information, or material protected by Stratsys or third parties intellectual property rights is not included. More information on exportable data is available in Stratsys exit documentation, which potential customers may access prior to entering into an agreement.

Export capabilities

Stratsys provides export features in the platform that allow customers to retrieve their data in a structured format without undue delay and in accordance with applicable legislation.

Possible technical and other limitations

Certain types of system data, logs, and historical data necessary for the operation and security of the platform cannot be exported. Export of very large data volumes may in some cases require special handling. Data generated through customer-specific integrations or stored with third-party providers through the customer’s own connections is not covered by Stratsys export features.

Fees

Export via the platform’s standard functions is free of charge. If the customer requests specific support or assistance from Stratsys that goes beyond Stratsys obligations under the Data Act, Stratsys may charge fees corresponding to Stratsys actual costs.

In some cases, Stratsys may also charge standard fees, switching fees, and/or penalty fees in the event of early termination. More information about this and when such fees may apply can be found in Stratsys Switching and Exit Annex, which potential customers may access prior to entering into an agreement. If you would like more information about potential fees, you are welcome to contact us using the contact details below.

Jurisdiction

All processing of customer data, including AI functionalities, takes place in Sweden. No data is transferred to or stored outside of Sweden.

Measures to prevent international governmental access

Stratsys implements technical, organizational, and contractual measures to prevent international governmental access to, or transfer of, data that could risk violating Swedish or EU legislation. This is primarily ensured by Stratsys processing all data within Sweden. Data is protected through encryption during transfer and storage using keys controlled by Stratsys. Our operational and infrastructure providers are based in Sweden and process data within Sweden. No transfers of data to third countries take place.
