Delete a Standard KPI

A standard KPI contains a basic structure for all general settings related to the dimensions of the Settings tab. Info Responsability roles, Keyword groups, Status And Description fields etc. are not made in the measurement template. The picture below shows a set for the measurement template "Number of measurements-the higher the results the better."

You can create several different Standard KPIs that the user is then allowed to choose from when a new measure is created. If there are multiple Standard KPIs, a default is always set, which means that it is preselected for users. If the user wants to use another template, he/she must make an active choice when the measure is created. Remember to be careful with the naming of Standard KPIs so that it easily appears what they contain. Ex. "The bigger the better".

Obs! Changes to the Standard KPIs do not pass through in dimensions that are already created!

Add a Standard KPI

To add a new Standard KPI, do so in the Standard KPIs chart. Scroll to the bottom, click Name and start adding a new Standard KPI. If you want, you can add a description and then select in which scorecard columns the measurement template should be available/visible.

After saving the measurement template, you can click Change Standard KPI and make additional settings about the Periodization, diagram, Columns, Reporting, startperiod, färginställningar And trendpil.
The settings can also be changed for each measure after Edit icon Setting tab.

Standard KPIs Name and description
Name
Here you baptize the measurement template.

Description
Provides a location for you to type a description that explains to the user how the measurement template is set up. Keep in mind that the description should be informative and easy to understand for a large crowd of users with varying levels of proficiency.

The standard KPIs Visibility
You can choose to make the measurement template visible only for selected measure columns (that is, scorecard columns of the column type Measure). Tick the measure columns where you think it might be useful. You can change this setting afterwards.

After the measurement template is saved, it becomes eligible for users to add new KPI nodes.

Change a standard KPI

Click the Change Standard KPI  button the current dimension template in the standard KPIs chart.

Periodization
Here you can specify how often data is entered for the measure. In the drop-down list Periodization Select the period you want. If you are missing a periodicity, you can create it under Periodicity and deadlines.

Chart settings
See Chart settings.

Reporting
You can give users permission to skip periods.

Startperiod
Specify which period to start reporting. Prior to this period, no reminders are given in the system.

Columns
Is Columns.

Color settings
Here you can specify how the color of the measure is to be produced. Either Manually, where the user himself sets a color, or Automatically Where the color is calculated from the input data into a special column. Colors are used, among other things, to filter out distinctive content in views or report parts. See Filter settings.

Obs! The column on which the color is based is the column that determines whether the measure's data is Färdigrapporterad. Reported data from last period that has a color appears in views where period is set to Last value

Manual color
If you choose manual color, you can choose the color for the measure in connection with commenting. See Comment settings For further information on, for example, Periodicerad color linked to comments.

Automatic color
For automatic calculation of the color, select a color column, and then set the limit values that apply to the different colors. Because a high number can be positive in one measurement and negative in another, you must enter The bigger the better Or The smaller the better. You also have Interval As an option, where you can specify a specific interval within which the outcome of the measurement is considered positive or negative.

Obs! We recommend that the color be based on a column with a percentage formula to obtain a representative color over time, even if the outcome varies.

Trend arrow

Trend can be used as a complement to or instead of color in views. Trend compares values over time. Specifies which column the trend should be based on and what value it should be compared to. The options you have to choose from are Compare to last Value Or Compare with last year's value Where Last year's value means that the value is compared with the same period of the year before.

Delete a Standard KPI

To delete a standard KPI, point to the measurement template, and then click Dust bin Shown on the right side of the picture.

Obs! It is not possible to undo a deleted standard KPI (for example, to see what settings it had), but the measures that were based on the measurement template when they were created are not affected by the deletion of the template.

An alternative to removing a standard KPI can be to change its visibility. See Add a standard KPI.
