Read about the new features and improvements added to the Stratsys platform over the past month and how they can help you improve your work and get even more value out of it.
We continue to make AI a natural part of everyday life at Stratsys. On October 1, we released a major update—an updated AI Assistant—based on MCP technology and featuring a host of new capabilities.
This gives you entirely new opportunities for deeper analysis, reduced manual work, and support in even more areas of your work.
Highlights
A number of minor improvements have also been made, such as a clear list showing what the Assistant is doing and simpler administration of the AI features. A lot of work has also been mande behind the scenes to create a better and more efficient experience.
Read more about all the new capabilities, get inspiration on how to use the Assistant, and learn more in our blog post.
Activation: The Assistant’s new capabilities require an AI license, and the capabilities must be activated by an administrator. Be sure to review your permission group settings so that the Assistant only has access where you want it to.
This update is included in the product license.
Here, we’ll share the major updates and improvements that are continuously being added to the workspace and object drawer. These features are available in all products. Contact your account manager to get started!
We’re now launching Timeline— a new view mode dedicated to activities that provides a clear and easy-to-understand picture of how work progresses over time. With a monthly overview of activities, status, and milestones, it becomes easier to follow the plan, see what’s coming up, and identify delays or dependencies in a timely manner.
Both filtering options and interface are consistent with other workspaces, but in the timeline view you get easy access to filtering on status and milestones, and you can also choose your desired time range in order to quickly overview activities of particular interest.
Activation: The Timeline requires a product license and is activated by selecting the Timeline view mode in the view administration.
In Week 47, all classic Gantt views* will be automatically converted to the new Timeline.
Other classic views are currently still converted to workspaces manually.
* Applies only to products with a product license.
We’re introducing a new text editor in Stratsys. It provides a smoother way to write and format information and is part of our efforts to improve tracking in the object drawer. The editor supports all comment types and can also be opened via the new editing mode in the workspace, “Edit Directly in Table.”
Activation: The new editor is available directly in the object window and requires no activation.
Activity status is now always available at the top of the object drawer. This allows you to view and change the status directly while working on an activity—whether you’re planning, documenting, or following up. You can also see whether the status is updated automatically or is consolidated.
Activation: The ability to change the activity status is always available in the object drawer and requires no activation.
Instructions are now available directly in the object drawer to assist with follow-up. By clicking the info icon in the follow-up box, the user can see what needs to be reported and read any specific instructions from the administrator.
