Why can't the user access the archive?

Do you receive an error message when trying to access an archived version?

This can be caused by:
  • The most common reason is that the user is missing from the archived database. As an administrator, you can add new users to the archive in the user administration by following the link to the archive.
  • It can also be due to the user having a main unit or authorization group that does not exist in the archive. The authorization needs to be adjusted in the archive by the administrator.
  • It can also be because you are currently impersonating another user - in that case, end the impersonation and try again.
  • If you, as a full administrator, do not have access to the archived version, please contact support. This may be due to incorrect linking to the archives, which we at Stratsys need to address.
