Why can't I modify a user?
If you're unable to modify a user, it's usually because you lack one or more permissions.
If you're unable to modify a specific user it's usually because you lack one or more permissions.
To add, remove, and modify users, you need to:
1) Be a Local or Full Administrator in the database (which grants access to the "Users" menu), and
2) have one of the platform roles: Super Administrator, User Administrator, or User Provisioner (which grants the ability to modify user details).
If you're a Full Administrator with the Super Administrator role, you can modify all users. With other roles, you can only modify users with the same or lower permissions than yourself in the database.
Users with the User Administrator or User Provisioner role cannot modify users with the same role.
