Listed below is information regarding how help texts can be added for description fields, key words, responsibility roles, activities, control model columns and views.
What is a help text?
The system provides different help texts. Some are predetermined by the system, or refer to the manual, but many of the texts can be adapted so that they fit your set-up.
One example which is shown below is a help text for a description field, which helps the user understand what is meant to be entered in that field.
This article describes how help texts are edited for some of the most common fields.

Go to Description fields in the administration.
Click on "Description" to update the help text for your description field:
Save at the bottom of the page.
The help text is shown in the node's "edit-window" by clicking on the question mark:

A descriptive text for a column is added through "Edit control model column" (3) in the administration:
Add desired text in this field:
The help text is then shown in views when hovering above the column title:
Help texts for responsibility roles
Go to Responsibility roles in the administration. Then click on the wrench for the chosen responsibility role:
Add the desired help text in the field and save:
The help text is then shown in the node's edit-window:
Help texts for key words
Go to the adminsitration and select "Key word groups". Click on the wrench for the key word group that you want to edit:
Add your desired help text in the field and save:

Help texts for activities
Go to Activity settings in the administration and select the tab "Help texts".
Update the help texts you want to change and save:
The help texts that you write here are shown if the user clicks on the question mark in the view. The help text will apply to all levels. The helptext for status is also shown in the follow-up-window.
Help texts for views
Go to the view settings, for example via the cogwheel in the view on the right hand side.
Then select Edit. You do this by selecting the cogwheel (1) and then click on the "Edit-button" (2). To add a help text you add the desired information in the appropriate field (3).
Add your desired text. There are plenty of editing options for this text and can use different fonts, lists, images and more. There is also the option to paste information from Word or Excel.
There is a possibility to select the option "Show help text when opening the view" (4). You can always access the help text by clicking on the question mark.
