Description
Stratsys offers several different login options for your users.
The recommended configuration is to use Single Sign-On (SSO), which we offer in various versions—SAML2, OIDC, and Microsoft Office 365.
How to Access the Settings
You can find the login settings in the platform administration. These settings are available to users with the Super Administrator role.
Click the icon with three figures and a gear at the bottom left corner (if you don’t see them, you don’t have the correct role), then select Login Settings from the menu on the left.

Login with Single Sign-On (SSO)
Login with Single Sign-On (SSO) is the most secure and convenient login option.
The following options are available: SAML2, OIDC, and Microsoft Office 365.
If your organization has access to any of these login options, implementing them for logging into Stratsys is usually straightforward.

Login with Code or Password
If your organization does not have access to a Single Sign-On solution, or if certain external users not covered by the solution also need to log in, we recommend using one-time code login via email.
If you do not wish to offer code-based login, there is also the option to log in using a username and password.

Direct Link to Login Method
If Single Sign-On is set as the default (see Advanced Settings) and login via code/password is allowed, this link will take the user directly to that login method. The link can be copied using the icon on the far right.
Login with One-Time Code via Email
Login with a code offers a secure login alternative when Single Sign-On is not available.
The benefit is twofold: users don’t need to remember an additional password, and security is significantly enhanced by avoiding weak passwords or passwords reused across other applications.
The following setting allows users to log in with Username and Code:

Login with One-Time Code
Here's how the login works: When signing in, the user is presented with a field to enter their username or email address and selects “Continue with code.”

The user then immediately receives an email at the associated address containing a six-character code (letters and/or numbers):
This code is then entered on the login page within five minutes, after which the user is logged into Stratsys.

Login with Username and Password
If you choose this login option, there are additional security settings you can configure, such as requiring longer and more complex passwords. You can also limit the number of failed login attempts and set password validity periods.
It is also possible to prevent login credentials from being saved, which ensures safer handling when users log in to Stratsys from shared computers.
However, it is not possible to prevent users from reusing passwords from other applications.

Advanced Login Settings
These settings apply to SSO login.
