Migration from Tripnet to Proact

At the beginning of October, we will be changing our hosting provider. This article contains important information about the transition.

We are changing our hosting provider. Below you will find important information about the transition.

New IP Addresses

As part of the migration, the IP addresses for our services will change. If you use IP-based allowlisting, we recommend adding the addresses listed in the table below in advance. No other action is required on your part.

Do not remove the current IP addresses until you have received separate confirmation from us. The existing IP addresses need to remain in place in case the migration needs to be rolled back. 

Planned Maintenance Windows

Primary maintenance window

October 2, 6:00 PM – October 4, 11:00 PM

Backup maintenance window

October 16, 6:00 PM – October 18, 11:00 PM

Our plan is to carry out the migration during the primary maintenance window. The backup maintenance window will only be used if, for any reason, the migration needs to be aborted or postponed. We will provide further information if this becomes necessary.

Impact

During the maintenance window, the Stratsys platform will not be available. Any integrations, API calls, and SFTP transfers will also be affected during this period.

There will also be a restriction on the ability to copy databases in Platform Administration. From 30 September to 12 October, the ability to create new databases or copy databases in Platform Administration will be disabled, as the migration of archive databases will begin. During the service window, we will prioritize production databases.  

Work performed in your demo- and test environments between September 30 and October 2 will be lost. You will still be able to access the environments, but any work done there will not be saved. From October 5 onwards, everything will function as usual, and work in the demo and test environments will be saved normally.
