How does the “All from the version” filter work for activities?

In the Activity Settings menu in the administration section, you configure the default filter for all activities in Stratsys. This setting affects how activities are filtered in views and report sections.

The most common option used is All from the version. This setting behaves slightly differently in the current version compared to the planning version, but it applies to both.

All from the version displays all activities created in the version you are currently in (either current or planning).

In the current version, all activities are shown regardless of whether they have a status marked as Completed or not. This includes activities created in earlier (now archived) versions.
In the planning version, activities that have been completed in the current version are filtered out—unless they have been detached in the planning version. Detached nodes receive their own copy in the planning version and are therefore visible even if marked as completed.
