AI Development in Stratsys Assistant

Last month, Stratsys Assistant got two new abilities that you can read more about below.

The Assistant can Answer Questions about Legal Requirements/Frameworks

This development is included in product license (released May 28)

Our AI Assistant in the communication interface has a powerful new feature: it can now provide you with quick, relevant and accurate answers to questions about the legal requirements and frameworks that our products support.

The wizard is trained on the relevant regulations and provides you with guidance directly in the tool - saving you time, helping you work more efficiently and giving you the confidence that you are supported by the right requirements.
For example, you can get answers to:

  • What are the ESRS requirements for reporting on dual materiality?

  • How do we carry out a risk assessment according to AFS 2001:1?

  • How often do we have to follow up our quality work according to the regulations?

  • What are the requirements for reporting our quality work to the principal or the Swedish Schools Inspectorate?

The products where Assistenten can currently provide support in frameworks are:

  • Information security
  • Sustainability management
  • Quality work for health & care
  • Systematic work environment management
  • Quality work in schools & National quality system for schools

The function is a beta version and you can use it at no extra cost until the end of the year, in the products of the above that you use today. Of course, it can continue to provide answers based on our manual and FAQ just as before.

The Assistant can Help you with your Tasks

This development requires you to have approved AI agreements. Released for activation on June 24.

We're taking the first step towards building AI agents into our Assistant - a new type of AI that not only answers questions, but can also act proactively. It understands what you're trying to do, suggests next steps, and can even perform certain tasks for you.

This opens up great opportunities to simplify and streamline your work - always with safety and control in focus. The AI agent never acts without you as a user explicitly asking for it.

The first functions where Stratsys Assistant can support you are in the Do board and To do list. For example, you can ask the assistant to:

  • Add a new card to a Do board
  • Move cards between columns
  • Show what you have on your To Do list next week

Try it out and see how the Assistant can make your life easier! We will gradually add more AI agents to help you in even more parts of Stratsys.

The feature is released as a beta and can be used free of charge until the end of the year.

Get started!

To start using the functions, you need to have approved our AI agreement. Then you will find the tab "AI" in the administration where you can activate the functions you want to use.

If you have not yet approved the AI agreement, contact your account manager.

 

New View and Object Window

Thread Mode gives a Clear Overview of how the Work is Connected

The new workspace already includes both a table and overview mode, with the aim of creating an overview and gathering more information and navigation in one workspace.

Now we are introducing the Thread mode - a completely new viewing mode in the workspace that helps you plan, follow up and overview goals, key figures, risks, sustainability data and much more - in all products!


With the help of the thread mode, you can clearly see how the objects are
connected and get help to see both the whole and details, and stay focused.

  • A new design with a cleaner layout ensures that the most relevant information is displayed and provides an overview of the status of each item, making it easier to understand and focus on the right things.
  • Size modes allow you to adjust the amount of information as needed; zoom in on details or keep it compact for the big picture.
  • The ability to easily collapse related items such as key figures and activities further helps you in being able to overview the whole plan. A keyboard shortcut (Ctrl + space) collapses all objects, which is particularly useful in larger structures.
  • The ability to choose the default view mode gives you as an administrator better opportunities to guide users in the new workspace about where in the process they are.

No activation is required, the wireframe mode is directly available in all new workspaces.

Possibility to Review and Approve Reports

When following up in the platform's products, reviewing the data or assessments collected is a key part of the work process, to ensure that the organization is reporting correctly. To better support this step, we are now releasing the ability to review and approve the reporting directly in the platform, to all products.

  • Review and approve per KPI or risk in follow-up and object windows
  • Approved reporting is locked and can only be adjusted by users with specific authorization
  • Approved and locked reporting is protected against organizational changes
  • See which KPIs or risks have been approved in the workspace

Support only applies to items of type measure or risk and can be activated per column in the governance model. Also add permission to review reporting for relevant permission groups. Read more in our manual or ask Stratsys AI Assistant.

Improved Appearance for Object Properties

In conjunction with the new thread mode and the new design, the appearance of object properties hasbeen updated in the entire workspace, i .e. also in table/overview mode.

The aim of the improvements is to create consistency in the way objects are presented in the platform and make it easier to read information. The appearance update applies to risk, status, color, keyword, unit and measure data columns.

In connection with the update, both "color" and "risk" have been expanded so that it is now possible to choose to display text, icon or both text, icon or both.

Possibility to Select Objects from the Current Control Model

The new interface for selecting and copying, for example, key figures, activities or information sets, previously only supported selecting from other control models and products. We have now adjusted this and from now on support both ways of working.

  • Setting per column in the control model that makes it possible to select from the current control model
  • When the setting is turned on, the current control model and product are displayed as a separate tab in the interface for selecting and copying in

Please note! The setting must be activated in order to be able to opt-in from the current control model and product (opt-in). This is done per control model column.

Planning Version - Easier Work Between Products

In some of the products in the Stratsys platform, it is relevant to work with planning version while in other products it is not relevant. We have now made improvements to facilitate navigation between products and to make it easier in cases where planning version is not applied.

  • Possibility to set in the menu administration in which version the work in the product should be done
  • Support for menu configuration to avoid setting up menus incorrectly
  • When navigating between different products, the version is automatically switched
